It’s full steam ahead to Intermodal Europe 2024, which is now officially open for visitor registration.

This year’s edition of the premier container industry event will take place from 12 - 14 November 2024 at the Rotterdam Ahoy, marking an impressive 49th anniversary by welcoming thousands of professionals to meet and do business with the biggest names in the container industry.

Fan Landers, Commercial Manager at Intermodal Events commented, “Demand for Intermodal Europe 2024 has been totally unprecedented, and I am delighted to say that we are fast approaching a sell-out show. We're very excited to be returning to Rotterdam, a city that sits at the heart of the container shipping industry.”

While global trade continues to face challenges borne by geopolitical tensions, sustainability concerns, and the ever-changing demands of a growing population, there is reason for optimism across the container market. Demand for boxes is high, and, according to the BIMCO Container Shipping Market Overview & Outlook March 2024, container volumes are estimated to grow between 3 – 4% in both 2024 and 2025.

“The complexity of challenges facing the global transport industry cannot be underplayed, but neither can the potential opportunity for forward-thinking businesses, who are able to innovate and adapt in order to meet the future needs of the container market. There are plenty of reasons to be optimistic about the future, and only at Intermodal Europe can the industry learn about these opportunities and engage directly with exhibitors who are leading the way.”

“We can’t wait to get back together again this November, and we are looking forward to welcoming attendees from around the world for three days of innovation, collaboration and exploration,” continued Landers.

The exhibition at Intermodal Europe will showcase over 130 leading names from the container industry, including those responsible for the latest advancements in technology, security, cold chain, coatings, and logistics solutions. Among the prominent companies confirmed to exhibit are CARU Containers, SeaCube, Maersk, Carrier, Triton, Seaco, CMA CGM, DAIKIN, Container Owners Association (COA) and CAI International.

"With the show floor nearly at capacity – now over 90% sold out - and an exceptional lineup of exhibitors confirmed, Intermodal Europe 2024 will be the premier destination for professionals eager to discover, engage, and forge valuable partnerships within the container shipping and transport market,” said Landers.

In addition to the exhibition, Intermodal Europe will feature a comprehensive, free-to-attend conference program. Industry experts and thought leaders will tackle the pressing global challenges and uncover the myriad of opportunities. Details about the agenda and speakers will be released soon.

For many visitors, a key highlight of Intermodal Europe is the productive and frequent networking opportunities on offer. Networking sits at the core of the event, making it a dynamic hub for innovation, knowledge-sharing and professional connections.

For those interested in attending, registration is now open. Further details about the event and registration information can be found on the event's official website at intermodal-events.com.
